Gosford Hill Sixth Form is an exciting place to be, where results just keep getting better and better. Students have the luxury of their own building, allowing them to study independently in a variety of learning environments. We have a strong sense of community, which provides additional support for students throughout their two years of study and allows them to develop friendships that last a life time.
We have a well established and experienced team in our Sixth Form, who teach a wide variety of both traditional and new A Level courses. We are incredibly proud of the students’ results and this forms a primary reason for students choosing to continue their studies with us. This year we achieved our best ever results, with a 98% pass rate and 55% of students achieving an A* - B grade in at least one A ‘Level subject. This success is based on strong academic teaching and individual student guidance. In addition 84% of students gained their place at either their first or second choice University, including Oxbridge applicants.
Student voice and leadership are key qualities we strive to develop through our Enrichment Programme. This contributes to the positive relationships that students build with both their peers and staff. More importantly it prepares and gives our students a competitive edge when entering the world of work and or applying to University.
Life in the Sixth Form is both challenging and enjoyable. At Gosford Hill School we equip our students with the skills needed to succeed and provide the stepping stones to a bright and prosperous future.
