Mathematics and ICT
We aim to equip students with skills for life, together with the best possible qualifications.
Students are supported to achieve the highest grades they can, taking account of their individual needs.
In Mathematics, students are encouraged to:
- develop understanding of mathematical concepts and how these link together,
- interpret mathematics represented in different ways,
- generate their own examples,
- work with other students to solve problems, explaining and showing their reasoning,
- appreciate the use of mathematics in society as well as historical, cultural and creative aspects of mathematics.

AQA for GCSE, A Level and Further Mathematics A Level.

In ICT, students are encouraged to:
- understand the importance of the appropriate use of ICT,
- make use of leading technology,
- consider the most appropriate ICT application for a task,
- make use of the skills learned in ICT across the curriculum.
