English and Languages

In the English Faculty we seek to ensure that all students fulfil their potential. All students will be supported and challenged to achieve through differentiation, high quality planning and high quality feedback from teachers.

We also aim within the Faculty to promote enjoyment of the subject for all students and independence within our students. We seek to listen to students and canvas their views in order to foster enthusiasm for the subject.

We believe our curriculum offers significant breadth and depth across all key stages and is engaging for all students.

Our vision is to provide a varied experience, offering students opportunities to study a range of literary texts and promote a passion for writing and a love of languages.
