Safeguarding Statement

The vast majority of students attend Gosford Hill School every day without fear for their safety. Indeed in recent parent surveys the safety of their children is judged to be very high. However, Gosford Hill recognises its responsibility for Safeguarding and Child Protection and ensures that safeguarding and welfare of students is promoted by focusing on:

Staff at Gosford Hill School follow the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board Procedures

If a student has a concern, they need to speak to a member of staff, (tutor, a teacher, a student manager, a teaching assistant, a counsellor) who will then get advice from the staff who oversee safeguarding (designated staff).

Alternatively students can go directly to a designated member of staff.

The designated members of staff at Gosford Hill are;
