As a Headteacher one of your roles is to try and help your staff develop and make progress in an ever changing and demanding profession. It is then particularly pleasing to announce that one of my Deputy Headteachers Wendy Hemmingsley will be the new Headteacher of The Henry Box School in Witney from September. I know she will make a great leader.
During recent years Gosford Hill has raised standards gaining an excellent reputation for learning and teaching. As such Wendy Hemmingsley will be replaced by an Assistant Headteacher to join my Strategic Leadership Team.
Other members of staff are also looking for promotion and over the next month we will no doubt see other highly respected colleagues move on and new faces join our school team. It is a great credit to everyone associated with our school that we are producing the leaders of the future.
