Welcome to our School Website. Gosford Hill School is a high performing school which is focused on raising academic standards and to be the best school it can possibly be. Our core purpose is to Foster Ambition and Inspire Success. We achieve this this through our House System and maxim of ‘Learn Lead Inspire’.

The school's focus is on continuous improvement. At its heart is a personalised curriculum designed to meet the needs of every individual. This is underpinned by a strong pastoral structure that both challenges and supports students on their voyage to academic excellence. Life in the classroom is about learning, engagement and celebrating success.

There is a real belief that all students play a positive part in contributing to the school community. Through promoting active participation in school life and decision-making, we have high expectations of all our students. We expect excellent attendance and punctuality and expect all students to produce work of a high standard at all times. Importance is placed on school uniform, mutual respect, co-operation and trust to ensure a real sense of community within a positive learning environment.

We aim for students to leave Gosford Hill School as confident, articulate and highly skilled young adults aware of their responsibilities in society and fully equipped to secure a place in higher education or employment. My committed and talented staff work tirelessly towards this through ensuring every student reaches his or her potential. In order to fully achieve our aims we believe it is vital to work closely with parents/carers and all members of the school community.
