North Oxfordshire Hockey Tournaments November 2017

The Year 7 and Year 8 Hockey Teams played in the Level 2 North Oxfordshire Hockey tournaments at NOA last week. Both teams are winners of their respective North/South leagues, but now they were up against the other North/North league winners and runners up. The atmosphere was really tense and exciting for these young players with up to 10 schools playing hockey on a brand new astro pitch. The Year 7 and 8 teams played in the cup tournament with the winner and runner up going through to the Level 3 Oxfordshire School Games Finals in March 2018 at Tilsley Park. The squads were fantastic in their hard work, team spirit, high skill level and determination to win by scoring goals. The Year 7 and Year 8 hockey teams both won their three games and are now champions of North Oxfordshire and therefore qualify for the Level 3 Oxfordshire School Games Finals. Brilliant!
