University Applications (UCAS) Update

The deadline for applications to UK Universities has now passed. I am pleased to announce we have a record breaking year group applying to Higher Education this year. 75% of Year 13 students have applied to institutions all over the UK. They have been applying since last October and many of them have conditional offers already. Eight students have all of their five offers each. In fact we have some prestigious offers: Beren Wilkinson has an offer from Corpus Christi College, Oxford to study Physics and Simon Hague has a very high offer from Clair College, Cambridge to study Maths. Congratulations to them all.

It is not too late, it is still possible to apply to University, there are 3 options open to you:
 Applying directly
 UCAS extra
 Clearing

If you are interested in discussing these options, or any other pathway, please see me or Mrs Hounsell.

Mr S Williams - Head of Sixth Form
